I was living in central Florida, and had an experience that forever changed my life.

At the age of 17 I had just been expelled from three schools for drugs and alcohol, my life was radically changed in one moment with an encounter with Jesus Christ.

That chili January night in my dorm room, when I received the love that God had for me my life was marked!

I immediately moved from a flunky student to the honor roll, I was elected senior class president as well as receiving the first full scholarship at my college prep school. It was awarded me for two things; my leadership abilities and my model conduct.

Now that’s a total hoot, especially if you would have known me the year before!

The next semester after getting saved I started a bible study at my prep school and saw phenomenal results. After sitting through college, classes for several years trying to find my destiny, I  traveled with a gospel music group ministering in, at that time, the communist block countries of Eastern Europe under the direction of Terry Law.

I went to bible college and got married. I moved to Spokane WA to be a youth pastor and had a blast! I then traveled with my friend John Jacobs (the Power Team) as an Associate Evangelist.

By that time I was ready to start traveling on my own. Those were some fun times, preaching in churches of 10 people to 10,000 people!

Then Willie George asked me to host his  youth television programs Fire by Nite, after doing 11 episodes of that show Willie George encouraged me to start my own show so I did, that’s when I began “This Generation and Destiny TV.”

We shot our 1st whole season of shows in one day. It just happened to be a record breaking heat wave sweeping through Tulsa with temperatures reaching 104 degrees that day. Yes, we shot that whole show outside, except for the warehouse shoot that was 109 degrees inside! That was character building!!!

About that time God began to open up some great doors, I co-hosted the 700 Club with Pat Robinson and was a regular on the Hour of Healing with Richard Roberts. I authored several Christian Books that were on the best seller list.

While all this was going on I really had a strong desire to pastor a church. So I started one. We called it Destiny Church in Tulsa Oklahoma. It exploded right from the get go. We saw a lot of people get saved and lives changed at Destiny Church.

Then I went through a divorce after being married over 20 years. I remarried after a year of being single, (I really didn’t care for being single) and now I’m a living testimony how God is putting the pieces of my life back together!

I am currently Pastor of Celebration Church of Tulsa with my soul mate and wife Dawn.

People say I am a world renowned speaker ministering in over 50 countries. But the real truth is I just love telling people how awesome God is and how much He really believes in them!
